A celebration of local authenticity, curated by Octant Hotels Inspired by the LATITUDE project – the guide curated by Octant Hotels on the most authentic places around.
The event brings together chefs, artists and local producers from the Douro region for a weekend of informal luxury, excellent gastronomy and culture.
It’s a natural extension of the Octant experience, where the hotel is no longer the destination but the starting point for exploring, feeling and tasting the authenticity of the region.

24th OCTOBER
The day of arrival and many surprises.
The highlight will be a four-course dinner at the acclaimed Raiva restaurant – bringing together the talent of renowned chef Dárcio Henriques and an international guest.
After the experience (available only to a restricted group of visitors and by reservation) join the rest of the guests for a concert by the pool, overlooking the Douro River.
SATURDAY
25th OCTOBER
The day with the most experiences begins with a special breakfast, prepared by our chefs and dedicated to the vision of latitude – the best of the Douro, from source to mouth.
From that moment on, your personalized experience can include unforgettable moments such as intimate talks in our library with philosophers and thinkers, concerts in unlikely places for just a few dozen people, yoga sessions by the river with live music and much more.
From midday, you’ll be invited for a short walk to our meadow, where you’ll find 6 of the best national and international chefs cooking live, the best wines and crafts from the Douro, and a stage for renowned orchestras and bands, with the river in the background.
The day will fly by, and throughout it you can eat, drink and dance until you decide to go back to your room.
Sunday
26th OCTOBER
The last day will be designed to please not only those who prefer to rest or enjoy our spa, but also those who prefer a last experience in or out of the hotel.
A perfect farewell, also with many surprises – which we promise will make the decision to return next year much easier.
